Background

Accion is a global nonprofit on a mission to create a fair and inclusive economy. They work with local partners to develop and scale responsible digital financial solutions for underserved people globally. The Live Box was chosen to supply the AV requirements for a globally streamed Hybrid Event taking place in the Lancaster Gate Hotel in London over 3 days. 

Event Services

Our team visited the Lancaster Gate Hotel to understand what space and facilities we had to work with. With limited ceiling height we incorporated a 100" projector screen for the main visual whilst flancked by two Samsung 55" 4K TV screens for guests on the outside rows. With many panels throughout the day we supplied 10 wireless headset microphone systems which were rotated so when one panel were on stage the other could be miced up, handheld microphones were positioned around the room when needed for Q&A to complete the setup.

Our vMix production system took care of the visuals in the room and also for the live stream. We created bespoke lower third and animated graphics for the stream so virtual delegates knew which presenters were speaking. We implamented a 3 camera setup with one camera as a fixed wide, another for panel tracking close ups and a third for audience partisipation and reaction shots, this setup gave the stream a dynamic and engaging look for the audience. 

Accion deal with a wide number of Spanish speaking countries around the world. We also supplied translation services for delegates in the room via Bluetooth headsets and also translation on the live stream. The translator booth was positioned near the back of the room with a live audio feed to translator headsets, Zoom Webinar allowed online delegates to  easily switch between hearing the conference in Spanish or English. 

Several breakout rooms were required over the 3 days. All were installed with a Samsung 75" 4K TV screen, 2 headset and 1 handheld wireless microphone systems, Mac Mini presentation computers and professional MicroCue presentation clicker systems.
