The National Army Museum is the British Army's central museum. It is located in the Chelsea district of central London, adjacent to the Royal Hospital Chelsea, the home of the "Chelsea Pensioners". We have been working with the National Army Museum for the past 3 years as their official contracted AV partner. We deliver all audio and visual requirements throughout the year for over 15 events including the yearly Chelsea History Festival which takes place over one week in September.
Event Services
Every event at the National Army Museum is unique and therefore requires a different setup for each occasion. We provide a bespoke quote for every event ensuring the correct equipment is used to fulfil the brief, event space and budget set.
The National Army Museum has three main event spaces including a large Atrium and two smaller Foyle rooms perfect for smaller intimate presentations. The main Atrium is used for nearly all evening events for which we supply large format TV screens or projectors showing content from our video production system. Audio is delivered by L-Acoustics LA4X amplifier powering X8 passive coaxial speakers deployed in a satellite configuration to supply clean crisp audio throughout the venue space. Multiple wireless headset microphone systems are required depending on the presenter or panel count along with several handheld microphones to cover the host and Q&A sections. Wireless battery powered up-lighters are used to decorate the event spaces high ceilings creating a dramatic look and atmosphere for the guests to enjoy. Chauvet professional LED profile spot lights are used to precisely light presenters onstage making sure there is no bleed onto TV screens showing important content.
Chelsea History Festival
The Chelsea History Festival runs across all three NAM event spaces simultaneously each day requiring AV setups in each location. We supply audio, LED screens, staging, backdrop, microphones, lighting and video production for each area including a professional technician from our team to operate and manage each location. In addition we also provide streaming capabilities throughout the whole event using the latest Sony 4K cameras and vMix video production software to produce a high quality video production.
